Agreed, price is too high for the condition.

Poor car, allowed to rot like that...

Trailer hitch and aftermarket cassette player mod and cruise control belies the "100% original and unmolested" statement... and the evap canister hose is missing from the air cleaner. Some badges are broken/missing. The rear-view mirror mount is non-stock, original is broken. Muffler does not look original to me - - original chrome tips were larger IIRC.

Engine bay pics are pretty hard to make out, but there's something funny with the radiator; it has a temp sensor below the rad cap that I've not seen on an 80 before; maybe just not normal on the Cali build? (it's got the cold-start system which mine never had). Battery is installed backwards and the battery cables don't look stock. Cruise servo definitely looks aftermarket.

Price is unreasonable for the condition. Even for a later-serial LS.

Cruise is aftermarket bit that was early 80s stuff available in the Rx7 club magazines. aside from the deck rust it is actually in pretty good shape, BTW it does have a NOS spare unless he took it out and sold it. Until I had the problems at my shop (private shop) with a former friend of mine that has cost me upwards of 60k now we actually were buying this from the current owner.

As far as unmolested it is not that molested yes there are things that have to be changed to make it 100% original but it not as bad a description as I see from other posters on ebay..... For example a 100% original Rx-3 with an 13B.........

I do know that supposedly it runs really good.

For me it wasn't so much the car as It would mean that I had LSs in each of the 3 colors.

the owner is definatly optimistic about his pricing of the car. imo, he's asking too much as the car is not in original condition as stated above. the first thing that worries me is the installation of the hitch..if someone is pulling something with an RX-7, there's going to be some serious wear to the brakes, trans, engine, u-joints, and suspension..that original unmolested car just dropped down to a high schooler's beater..i would say his description if inaccurate as the interior is not in above average shape..and i'd like to see his compression and "leak down" tests...nice car for $750 or less.
