To remove, from the interior you raise the sunroof as high you can. Then from the outside, reach to the catch and pull the two orange buttons toward the rear and lift. You'll get about a half inch of lift until the safety catch limits you. Press the safety catch and raise the back edge of the roof to about a 45° angle and then lift backward so that the front edge of the roof comes out of the slots. Photos...
