Yike!
mutt color, base model, not even a sunroof (a must-have IMHO)
$10-12K++ is a LOT to spend on an odometer - and the new owner has to know the price drops like a brick as the miles pile up... leaving what? An ugly stripper Rx7. oy...

I am with Stu. Minimal miles sure, but not at all desirable. The car will never sell at this price.

It's nice to see one this original, and truly "preserved."

But not $17K nice. Maybe half that, if someone had money to burn & was a true fan.

He's asking what, twice the original price? More? What did the base-model 85's go for?

I think they added an extra zero. $1700 sounds about right. It's still a buyer's market isn't it?

That's the highest price GS model I've seen. Incredibly low mileage. My least favorite exterior color ever on the RX-7. Be interested to know what this ultimately goes for.

Way overpriced. It's worth about 3-4 prob or less.

The front end looks repaired to me. GS emb missing on rear.

My former beige GS 84 is for sale for $1200 and it's only got 54,600.

Now an absolutely mint early '78 SA with all the fixins with 2,200 miles would be worth something... Who has to worry about color on those. It's like a Lamborghini, every color looks great on it if it's clean.

Yeah you could get a showroom FD for 17 grand. Plus add 150 horsepower.

It's in good shape no doubt but a 12A car will never fetch that much unless there was one that was built from the Mazda factory with all remaining factory parts with 0 miles. Like said, a nice SA might go for that or maybe even an SE. Depends what options are in it seeing as it's an S model(hence no GS badge). Regardless it would be fantastic to own

2200 miles on a 23 year old car? sounds like it was lost and forgotten for 2 decades.

Imagine all those little moving parts never moving for 2 decades, bearings gears, rotors....probably fused together by molecular migration now

Is it just me, or does the phrasing of the ad sound odd? Every line starts with "The vehicle" or "The sports car." 'Sounds' strange.

If it had a 4 rotor PP with 2200 miles you could fetch that kind of money. However I had a *** shot gs with the baby poo interior and i hated the color combo.

Not worth the 22k price tag, sure it has a new turbo motor, but again, an FD in that price range would have nearly twice the power.
