that was stupid... torque means nothing. torque is variable. power is everything and every real car guy knows that. That vid was made by some redneck douche bag that got a C in his HS science class.

 

Horsepower is calculated off of torque and unless you measure engine output in KW or BTU's I would think that Torque is an accurate way to measure an engine's total power and where that power is built up at.

-Not trying to bash or anything, this is just as far as I understand it, so if I am wrong. Which does happen, feel free to edumacate me!
