I never understood why people blur out the license plate. It's not like you can just call the DMV and ask for the owner's information to find out where they live.

A lot of track guys do it for warranty or insurance reasons for track pictures. I usually tape over my plate when on the track for that reason.

That is SO bad ***.


Yeah - for car shows i'm not that worried about it - but if your insurance will give you the boot for racing, then yeah you want to blur or prevent visibilty

Many of you guys weren't around when the FB came out, it was simply awesome. I decided I wanted one while in High School waiting for a haircut in a Barber shop. Car and Driver had a 4 port 13B 1980 car on the cover. They stated the only car, including the exotics, that could run with it was a 930 Turbo. It went from 0-60 in 5.0 seconds and ran a ~13.5 quarter I believe. I made my mind up, that was the car for me. I bought one and owned a couple until I bought an FB. The FB was a head of time more than the FD was in it's day. The girls loved it too!

I see why, I have 7 cars and still enjoy driving my FBs. FB people are good people. Great show BTW.

I have never watched the show and will now begin the books solely because he drives an FB, this man has my respect.
