Got some stuff in the mail...Sorry Neighbors:)

Its about time but the Full Cat-less exhaust is in. I bought the headers used from Anthony (Kick @ss guy from Puyallup) for $100 and the Cat-Pipe from Racing Beat (of course. I have an appointment to get everything put on monday for about $100 from a local muffler shop. I'll be posting a pre and post audio of the exhaust and I'll have that up tomorrow

Enjoy the sound. What muffler is going on? I would hate to use one preformance muffler only.

Will the RB pipe be cut? I'm not seeing how this is suppsed to work. Jeezus, one performance muffler can do just fine, as long as it's an RB muffler LOL

When I bought my '82, I had a catalytic converter "test pipe" made.
When I took off the cat to install it, I decided to start it up just to
hear what it sounded like, unmuffled, before putting the pipe on.

This was in the garage, at about 10:30pm.

The first time I started it, it was so loud that I instictively shut it off!

When I restarted it, it sounded goooooood!

Yeah I daily drove my FB for 2 or 3 weeks on open Road Race header. It hurt worse to drive with the windows down and this was in the summer with no working AC. The vribrations actually rattled the carb base bolts loose! It was insane. My SA has an RB header straight pipe back to the stock muffler. It's decently loud and very raspy and annoying outside the car. It does however sound pretty good inside the car. I can't wait to get my RB muffler on it though

I have a magnaflow muffler that has been fun but this will be more fun I have heard what people have said about it being loud, but I've driven an old civic with just headers so I have had my share of exhaust. This will of course sound better so I will keep you guy posted

That's going to loud if you use a straight through muffler. If you use a "chambered" style, it won't be too bad. I am running my SA without a presilencer, and it's actually a little quiter than the Turbo FB. If you want a comparison........http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LnqZVvQWmo

So I got everything put on....The Guy at the muffler shop put everything and fired it up and it was Ungodly loud, so he welded in a resonator for sanity's sake...It sounds great. Its nice and mellow till about 2500 and then gets real loud after that.

Headers

Catalytic Converter Delete Pipe with resonator (To be Legal)

To Muffler

And video of Exhaust....

nice set up...i ahve a rb header and presilencer..gonna get the rb muffler..had to take the header off bc of a hole in my stock muffler to loud.. anyways...the resonator is the same as my presilencer..and i dont think just putting that on is gonna make it legal..im pretty sure as long as we dont have a cat on its.. illegal..

Yeah these cars in general are illegal. The muffler guy said, "between you and me, this is illegal for me to do....but I love Rotaries so you are Lucky"

That stupid cat runs when a dog barks....It knows when to run from danger.

All in all, this setup is amazing and it was well worth the money...Racing Beat is amazing

Awesome that's one of the better sounding setups I have heard. Yea I have noticed cats stare or stop when I drive the FB around. Maybe they think it's purring like a giant kitty kat?

I can't wait for my car to hit 25 years old so there are no more emissions worries! After that I'll be able to start experimenting with different exhaust setups.

I don't care for the idle but it sounds very good actually when it's revved up. The set up on my SA right now is just RB header straight to the stock muffler. It's annoying outside the car but it actually sounds pretty decent inside the car. I'll hopfully soon be able to get my RB muffler welded on

Yeah it was about 20 degrees our so that was just hot air....That video really doesnt do justice to what it sounds and feels like. From about 3-7k, its absolutely amazing. Ive been driving around all day with the windows down just taking it in....even though its absolutely freezing out. There's also a significant power increase...my buddies wrx could pull a length on me to 60, and now its about half a car...not bad I say...
