Getting another FB! (GSL-SE)
I know I made a recent thread about my first FB 12A ($150, clear title, running), but now I have another one coming to me from TX. It's a 1985 (I believe), GSL-SE, 159,146 miles.
I've been wanting to get rid of my 240SX but can't find a buyer, until one of my friends spoke up about needing a motor, I said look, you give your friend with the FB the $350 he wants for it and you can take the car, and pull the motor, trans and ECU that you need.
So not only is he paying for the GSL-SE, in a sence, but he's also delivering it, printing out a bill of sale between me and the original owner of the GSL-SE, and hauling off the 240SX from my driveway.
Pretty sweet deal, guy says it runs strong but will shut off when warm (I'm suspecting ignition components), just thought I'd share with you guys. Here are some pics.

That's a steal. What are you plans? Have you seen what I did with a gutted S model I got recently? First I brought it up to better than stock power levels. Next it will get an EFI conversion.

My plans are just a daily driver/restore project. I don't know about the future though, I always wanted a badass NA first gen.
I haven't seen your thread but I will get to looking.
