Front Strut Mounts ....

Going to be installing NEW Struts and Shocks on my 84 GSL-SE this coming week ...Sourced out some NOS Red KONI front strut cartridges and rear shocks at a local Classic Auto Parts Store and wondering what Brand Strut Mounts to use ....I came across these MEVOTECH Strut Mounts .....https://www.carparts.com/details/Maz...EMP902934.html

Are these any good??? Or does the Forum Members suggest another brand ??? Do the 1st Gen RX7's use or have Bump Stops that need to be replaced??? Just want to have all parts on hand before i do the install ..Thanks !

So with more investigating ...the RX7 does have front Bump stops that come with Bellows ...So i ended up ordering these items from CARiD.com because they gave me a $25.00 Gift Certificate and 5% off .....I have ordered from them in the past with great Customer Service ....

KYB is by far the better brand. I've used some of the Mevotech stuff and it's just average quality. I feel like with suspension parts, you usually get what you pay for.

Hey Xander-
Suggest you consider the SOFTEST setting on the konis. In my experience these are pretty firm struts, and I think you are more of a touring-guy than a weekend autocrosser...
