Found wheels...need help
This probably sounds like an extreme stretch-
but recently I found someone who is selling some brand new, in the box 14x6 riken mesh wheels in Oregon. He refuses to ship them, and so i'm asking if anyone in the Oregon or Washington area would be willing to pick up these wheels for me and ship them to me in Tennessee. I understand this is kind of a big risk in trusting someone on the boards here, but generally speaking time and time again I've seen brotherhood and loyalty on these boards, and am willing to put that rotary loyalty up to the test. haha
I am posting here without information on the wheels first to see if anyone is able to help first. If so, I will PM them and try to make the necessary arrangements.
Thanks,
Ian

That's a good question. He said he just wouldn't, end of conversation...and wants cash only. makes me a little nervous about him acquiring them legally. He said he's had them forever...but i'm a little suspicious. He also states they're brand new in box, never been used before, which I'm keen to believe- as unbelievable as that sounds, because of the shape they're in and he has the original boxes they came in, wheel caps, and bolt-on valve stems.
Update:
A friend of mine recently moved to Portland and as far as I can tell it will work out that he can help me ship them.

Very nice. Good on your bud for helping out. I don't like shipping things, I find it a bit of a pain, but he has the boxes and would only have to take them to the shipping office and they'll put a label on them and off they go. The hardest part is finding a box the right size for what your shipping.

Make sure they get package good. I had a set of four wheels shipped but I only needed one wheel (wife hit a curb). I didn't look at all the wheels when I received them. A few months after I got them I looked at the other wheels. One had a dent that looked like it was drooped. By then it was to late to make a claim.
Those look like nice wheels and hard to replace if one got hurt.

Just add studs? Or is there a certain way to accomplish this. haha
Nevermind. I found some old threads that detail this.
