Ford Focus coupe inflenced by FB?

I have been window shopping around Autotrader. I am addicted to it.

Now Ford owns a part of Mazda and they share a lot of stuff. I swear this
new design 2 door Focus reminds me a lot of 1st Generation Mazda RX-7.

The door handles, dash, wheel. Even some stuff under the hood. Just looks like whoever designed the 1st gen got there hands on this car or it was somewhat influenced. However lacking pop up headlights...

if you squint your eyes really hard while listening to some old school micheal jackson songs....then maybe....just maybe there may be a hint of similarity

One of the few cars that has a dash reminiscent to that of a SA/FB (to me anyways) would be the Audi A3.

That is about as far away from an FB as you can get without putting sliding door or a truckbed on there.

Even my friend that is a BIG ford fan that owns a camaro and never works on and will never get finished and makes fun of GM alot said they are made in mexico.

You guys are looking at all wrong you've got to cross your eyes and hold your face right up to the screen with the volume up all the way, if you do this the similarities become blatantly obvious.
It has 4 pneumatic tires, the engine is in the front, a steering wheel, radio, speedometer, gas pedal, 2 bucket seats, and 2 head lights could the be more similar
