Quick question if anyone knows. Are all l1st gen fenders the same for all years up to 85?

 

Fronts are different. Rear, if you can find them are basically the same, with different part numbers across the series.

The 79-80 fenders are the same and the 81-85 fenders are shaped the same and will interchange.

 

FA01-52-111D for the Right Front 81-85
FA01-52-211D for the Left Front 81-85

Mazda has tons, still at 1985 prices

 

Glad to know there are plenty left. I should order a set.

Some fenders even have QR codes etched/stamped into them .. so yeah probably

 

I was able to order a new right fender but had trouble ordering the left. Although the websites suggest they may be available, when I've tried to order they state they are not available. Maybe they've replenished since I last tried but that was my experience.
