FC (NA?) vs. '85 SE
FC (NA?) vs. '85 SE
Today as I was leaving a car event, I saw a nice enough looking FC rx7 and since I'd only seen one the entire day, I decided that I should try and keep up on the highway with him. But when he wanted to race, I ended up absolutely waxing his ***. I've just got an exhaust and I don't think he had anything done. Is the SE really faster than a second generation car? Also, there was nice 13b re single turbo hillclimb racer that held many records from the John Finger and it had 500hp.
But on the highway doing about 50-60 mph, dropping down to 4th and just stomping on it, he kept up for like maybe two seconds, then its like he was braking lol. But are they really that heavy (the NA's not Turbos)

stock to stock the FC is ~50-70 lbs heavier, on 195 tires vs 205's.
a GSL-SE with exhaust should have about the same power at the wheels, if not slightly more

lol. With the RB full streetport exhaust I'm guessing it's putting down around 130-140 at the wheels? Thats with no other mods done.
Shouldn't the turbo car weigh (negligibly) more? It has more plumbing.

an FC SE model, is a base, so it should be ~2650 vs the GSL-SE's ~2550. a turbo is usually 2750-2850 depending
