Definitely. If we can, we'll make one. Depends on what kind of pictures we can get to work with mostly.

By the way, did anyone see how the 1st gen board just spiked? There were 46 people on! Had the 2nd gen board beat by 2!

I use solidworks...that program is bad ***...but it is not meant to be used to deisgn a car...tahts not what it is set up for..HOWEVER a freind of mine did make a roadster in solidworks but it took him FOREVER (like a year) to finish it (working on it religiously).....

Solidworks is cool.

I use it all day everyday.

Great for designing new products. It is probably the most useful 3D design software out there. Of course it is $3500.

It is really desinged for mechanical sytems with movig parts.

Ouch. Oh well, as long as this stays up near the front page so everyone can try and get their prints/pics/opinions on the project in

HA! Look what I found in the "RX-7 Gold Portfolio"! Now I just have to warp that blueprint back to the way it's supposed to be...

By the way, if you don't have it, you should get it. It's fun reading about how our cars kicked everything else's butts back in the day.

Sweet!

And whaddya mean "back in the day"?

With a ported engine, my '85 SE beat the CRAP outta 95% of the cars on the road...

Yeah, but nobody writes reviews about you, or anybody else's RX-7 anymore lol

I know full well that the cars dominate, but I just like to read about it as well

BTW, Rusty, awesome upload, but. . . we're still lacking a front and rear shot

I'll start working on this tonight, probably. . . . fun times ahead.

Yeah, but with a good top and side view and plenty of reference pictures it's not too hard.

Not at all, especially since I plan to do it without bumpers at all at first

I actually have a front bumper/valence combo in my closet, three feet to my left. But, when I do a model, I like to have it setup the way I always do, and I needs me my front and rear for that (damn me for being a stubborn fool)

Been busy, really, but I got one more thing done (and rendered, because it looks so damn pretty)

I didn't render a good pic further up because I'm having some placement issues (location, angle, all that ****), but if you want to see (or want a mesh of the whole exhaust) I'll be happy to oblige.
