F1/GT style mirrors on an FB?

What do you guys think? Anyone have some pics of 1st gens with these types of mirrors on them?

I'm tired of my old shaky mirrors and had thought about doing fender mirrors, but now I am kinda leaning towards F1 style mirrors.
You can get a set for less than $120. I'm fine with just the nylon/plastic ones, could care less for paying more for CF.

Cant tell much in the style other than the name.

Those mirrors dont look to bad.
But regarding the "im tired of my old shaky mirrors", I too was tired of them till I happened to look under them one day and "voila" noticed 2 screws below the mirror housing, so I tightened them and "bam" they shake no more.

I had Vitaloni Baby Turbos on mine back in the day... sun finally ate 'em up. Got tired of every passer-by in the parting lot screwing up my psg-side mirror alignment, too.

My screws are tight, one of the first things I checked. I guess I could take some off my parts cars. I just like to be different.

I like both of those sets, would look mighty fine in my opinion. A little different look, more personalized, and a wider viewing angle would be my selling points.

Like DD said though, you'd be reaching over all the time to adjust your mirrors whenever people walked by and bumped the car - as many are prone to doing. But with DD's car they are drooling at the same time

I've been thinking about doing this style on my Mariah wide body project. Car didn't have mirrors when I got it and stock mirrors just seem so pedestrian with the wide body on it. So thanks for sourcing mirrors. Was wondering were I needed to look.

Tons of other places to get them, they are just $400 or more a set. I seen some for over $600 a set!
