So my buddy gave me his shocks/springs from his evo since he got coilovers, think its worth a shot trying to make them work?

 

The EVO suspension is nothing like the FB... We use strut insert on the front. Besides, the spring length are shock length are most likely not compatible

Just because the Evo 8s handle well, doesn't mean that our cars would handle well using their equipment.

Not worth it. You should try to sell them on eBay or Craigslist and make some money you could put towards more useful parts.

It will take some fab work though. We had a guy on here fab up a way to use AE86 suspension on his first gen, so anything is possible.
