So I painted my velocity stacks today.



I put them on the carb just to see what they'd look like. The engine obviously doesn't run right now because it's broken. The new engine will be red as per the photoshop. I'm also going to paint the intake manifold white. I'm going to *try* to locate brass or stainless set screws to install into the unused bosses on the rotor housings. I hate the way the bolts look, and leaving them empty would look even worse.

So my color scheme is as follows:

Primary
Red
White

Secondary
Cast iron
Unpolishd bare aluminum

Detailing
Brushed/satin brass
Bright stainless

Time to order my header heat shield and new intake manifold. Oh, and find a new engine. Anyone got a used, running, 6-port S4 or S5 13b they'd like to sell?
