As anyone done this to their FB? I recently went to the junk yard where they had an FB and started trying out different wiper arms I thought may fit and ended up picking up some 88 325 BMW (E30) wiper arms for my FB. I bought same size blades for the arms, which are a bit longer.

Unfortunately when I was gonna test the new arms, my wiper motor/mechanism took a crap, which is why I'm asking if someone else has done this to confirm whether the arm travel will work.

I had Miata arms on my 79. They stick up a bit more where they bolt to the body, but worked so much better than factory push pin style arms.

 

What you use for the rear arm?

 

I dont believe 79-80 came with rear wipers.
