Dutch Rotarystock

Last saturday we had our 15th anniversary of the dutch RX-7 club at a small circuit in Lelystad the netherlands. We had about 130 rotary cars and motorcycles.

Some of us filmed that day and look at the first 3 minutes and you see a lot of first gens........most of them in mint condition.

Also RX-3, 4, 5, 8, R100, Cosmo's, NSU, Citroen bi-rotor, rotary bikes and so on

Filmed by Marcel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjAQ8ZyluBw
At 0.56 the grey FB.....that's mine

This one i filmed myself with some first gens on the track. Quality is not very good because i filmed it with my phone but gives a good impression of the day:

Enjoy!

Thanks for posting, looks like a very enthusitastic turnout and event. The condition and presentation of the cars there is first rate! Much eye candy everywhere you point your lens. One of the things I enjoy about that part of the world are the many dedicated, serious motorsports enthususts that abound. Gets my blood flowing!

Thanks Marcel-
good to see folks still take their rotaries out to play even with gas over $8 a gallon

8$ a gallon?......you can almost double that in Europe

Due to some heavy rain a lot of us did not dare to go on the track. My FB is completely stock and in my opinion no match for some of the FD's with over 400bhp.

But a stock SA with only an improved undercarriage was faster then most of them, they could not get all that power on the road

Sorry, had my math wrong. You're right but ad 20 cents above the german price, then you have the amount we pay
Expensive hobby, but so much fun!
