I got a really nice set of leather seats from a 93 eagle talon that I would love to put in my 83. Anyone done this before and what all was involved? Thanks much.

 

Modifying the seat rails. Don't know if any DSM seats have been converted, but I hear we run short on headroom, so find a short seat.

I wanted to get the 280z turbo ( I believe that is where the seats are from, had turbo below the headrest) seats in my car for better lumbar, but then I figured I would need to go turbo. Scrapped the idea because I get mistaken for a Z often enough anyways.

 

Thats kind of what Im worried about as the seat pans on the DSM seats are not flat on the bottom, they kind of dip down. I'll need to make custom brackets Im sure as the DSM rails and RX7 rails arent anywhere close to each other.
