Yea can't believe of the three he choose the RX-7 to cover the most. But he is also an owner of the rare Mazda Cosmo 110S. He's reviewed the RX-4 as well, so he definitely has an affinity for the series of rotary cars produced by Mazda.

What is most shocking to me is that Jay had never driven a 1st gen before...

Yup saw both of them, super cool!!

I thought Doug would give it a perfect score!!

I know that a lot of people like the GSL-SE, but I am biased to a Series 2 12A car. I love the idea of the -SE engine/brakes/drivetrain but the not the interior!

Sold for $28,750. The Seller did very well. A five letter '84 with 39K miles sold on BAT for $14K last month. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-mazda-rx-7-20/

The moral is: for the big bucks get Leno to take your car for a spin.

P.S. Winning bidder is brand new to C&B, bid once and won. Be interesting to see if the sale actually goes through.
