A couple of questions...
So I have been sifting through threads here for the last couple of days and I have a couple of questions about my new 7('85 GSL) I haven't been able to find the answers to.
1. what do the mods that it have give it over stock?
mods: Webber carb, RB headers, "custom exhaust", no cats, just a straight shot from the headers to the muffler(and every bit of it is welded together, the comment "you just have a sewer pipe down there huh?" was made recently),all emissions have been striped and a stage 2 clutch.
Also the guy I bought it from said it was ported but I have no way to confirm that right now, so I will assume that it is not.
2. With said mods is there anything extra I should do/know as far as maintinance and/or driving?
3. the headers have a small, hole patch or replace even though the entire exhaust is basically one piece?
-Max

1. You have an aftermarket exhaust, and carb. Is that what you are looking for?
2. You need to premix, 1oz per gallon of gas. Mix with oil, I prefer 2 stroke as it burns cleaner. Also a Fuel pump/regulator set at 2.5-4psi (wherever it is happier at)
3. Weld in a plate/patch for it. Unless you want to replace the header. Did they cut off the flange and weld the exhaust to the header?

I guess I should have been more specific, what kind of gains does the setup that is currently on the car give over stock? Since this is my first 7, I would like to know where im starting befor i move on to bigger and better mods.
