they have 2 types: STREET and RACE . The STREET sleeve sits right on top the stock spring perch, super easy!! The RACE comes w a bottom perch that needs to be welded.

More slammed would be the race kit, but if you get the street kit you will not destroy your oil pan if you run over a grain of sand.

I have the race coilovers on mine. I dropped the car about 1.5", but I was looking for more of a spring change than drop height.

Take a look at this video (starts out slow). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9cmv1PTd5M

I'm running suspension from www.re-speed.com too, and you can see here what can be done with it. And that height is only about .5 inches lower than what I run on the streets.

Here's a look from the inside (much better video too) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWpEYAKo0fU

Billy is a member of this forum, and is always asking us what we want next. The quality of their parts is the best, along with the customer service. He literally won my loyalty in our very first transaction. And he is certainly responsible for the performance of my car, as he advised me every step of the way. Can't go wrong....

Even on my 13's I can stick the nose of my car up the rear of my brother's miata on a turn.

It handles great. BIG difference from the ST springs I had before. The ST's were getting old and worn, it felt more "leany" and made the rear come around more unintentionally. With these springs it keeps the tires on the road. My next upgrade will either be the sways or strut bar.

Not to get TOTALLY sidetracked, but Billy was at ZOOM FEST this year, and brought his sway bar and RB's sway bar. The difference in weight is amazing!

EDIT: Found a picture before I installed them. It is from my camera phone.

I did all the prep work myself on the struts, taped the mount in place, then dropped them off at a weld shop. Picked them up the next day and paid 20 bucks. No problems.
