IN Carbs

I was looking around tring to find jetting for different carb setups. I would like to see a tread with all the different carb and jetting. I may be asking to much but been reading alot about the none normal carbs. Like The 40,44 and 48IDF's the 40 and 48dhla's dual weber setup. And very little info on jetting them for our cars.

Before people start saying the 40mm are to small back in the 80's the 40idf was used in the cartech turbo setup and from what I have read these would do really good on stock ported motors.

Jetting is really a trial and error thing. It also varies between climate/elevation areas. One persons ideal jetting setup may make your car stumble. This would be helpful for people in similar regions but otherwise useless for others.

Yea but it would be nice to have a starting point. If I buy a new 55dcoe There is no post about jetting this carb so maybe if I see jetting on other carbs it might help me jet this. Thats for my p-port if i ever get around to it. Also been looking a a cartech turbo setup which uses a 40idf but the guy doesn t have the carb any more.

I had a 45 DCOE ran great once I sorted out the jetting on it. Big hit or miss thing. I still might have some jets/ air correctors lying around though.
