Carb issues, flooding and then no fuel.

Hey so I've been trying to get my 85 first gen started again after a few days of sitting and it just wont turn over any more. Previously when I got it started there was a pool of fuel in the carb and the plugs were soaked in fuel. So now when I've tried to start it over the last few days it wont even turn over, I tried putting a little fuel down the carb and it wants go but it still wont, so I pulled the plugs and the second rotor wasn't spitting out any fuel, so i poured more fuel in the carb and sure enough it started to spray fuel/air mix. My question is does this sound like a carb issue or a fuel pump issue, or maybe a little bit of both? Any help would be appreciated! Could it be a stuck solenoid or maybe my fuel pump creating too much/little pressure?

Is there fuel in the float bowls? Look through the little windows on the front & back of the carb. Level should be at the halfway mark.

That info will help narrow down the source of the issue.

(this should really be in the tech section, rather than the non-tech section)
