lol yeah, make me wanna get one, but how sick would a similar kit look tho, like the wide bodies for our cars make the rear end look like its jacked up, almost giving the raked appearance coming from the back

I like it. I'm having trouble picturing it on an SA or FB, but on the 240 it works.

It's definantly viper-esk. But the Sa/FB has too many sharp lines to make this kit look right on it.

The fenders in that kit are similar to the fenders that are on my car, minus the rear fender vents. The rear spoiler is similar to the duck tail (?), spoiler that Billy (respeed) has on his car.

And this rear spoiler:

I think you're letting the paint job throw you off. Other than paint, I don't see a lot of similarities at all. Very nice work.

I miss my 240 now!

lol you guys are a riot. I was just thinking about trying to emulate it only because I peronally like doing something different. I have people ask me daily if my car is a z. I always tell them that my car is way better b/c less moving parts, then they look at me in a funny way and drive off . So why not do a body kit that really makes people ask WTF IS THAT?!

There has maybe been 2 people that knew my car was a mazda... The "amazing porsche!" comments seem to never end, even from porsche owners....

Actually, the type of spoiler on the Z car can trace it's beginings back to the early 60's, An american, Ritchie Ginther drove for Ferrari and came up with the idea while testing a prototype sports racer. (the GTO I believe). Anyway, it was found to help keep the rear end planted and made it's way on to the production GTO bodywork. Datsun later based the design of their most famous sports car off the Ferrari GTO. Pontaic also borrowed the name and made it popular on these shores.
