Body parts to keep from a clean shell

Just a couple days ago I picked a 1983 RX-7 GS that I'm using as a parts car. The body is actually in quite good shape though - in terms of rust and whatnot - and I was wondering what parts or pieces are worth keeping in such a case. The main reason I ask is because the car will be cut into thirds (probably later today) and if there's some component that's worth saving, I don't want to slice it in half accidentally. I feel like I saw a thread not too long ago where someone was replacing a plate or section of body under the car by the rear suspension - is there something down there that is worth keeping (I recall reading that whatever it was was difficult to find not rusted out)? If there are any other sections worth cutting out or such, please share.

As of now the vehicle is fully stripped and will be getting scrapped - the po had already cut out the front left corner of the car. The slicing is happening today so speedy replies are greatly appreciated if possible (particularly if the items to save are just ahead of the firewall or near the rear bin area as that's where we're cutting).

Thanks in advance.

The rear trailing link mounts are on plates visible from the rear wheel wells. These often rust out and require extensive work to reconstruct. These constitute the bins on both sides and the significant metal around them. Pretty much anything around the bins up the B-pillar are good salvage parts if you have a clean body.

Also rocker panels on both sides, and frame rails often get bent from poor jacking technique. The various heat shields along the trans tunnel and muffler box, and the body sections behind the wheel wells will collect salt from roads and tend to rust. Additionally, the hatch surround sometimes gets rust from poor drainage or leaves and debris holding water at the lower edge.

Sorry to see one more permanently destroyed, but not all will survive. Good luck,

Rear hatch rust bubbles up in 2 spots where the center latch support is spot welded to the body.
