atkins or mazdatrix rebuild video?

My 84gs is leaking oil pretty badly between the front cover and front housing just infront of the front rotor spark plugs. I'm lookin at buying another 12a motor to rebuild and drop in the car as it is my daily driver. I was wonder which rebuild video you guys have found most helpful---ATKINS or MAZDATRIX.

thanks

I have used the atkins video before, it was very handy along with the hanyes manual or how ever you spell it. Just take your time and do things proper and you will be fine. - Nick

Just noticed your looking for a rebuilt engine. I have one in the first gen parts section. Price is $600 without shipping. Let me know if interested.

Personally, I'd say go for the DIY-RE 4-disc set out of New Zealand. If you're just choosing between Mazdatrix and Atkins, go with Mazdatrix. The teardown and inspection have a lot more detail, and the rebuild portions are pretty comparable.

I like the Rotary Aviation vid. While it covers a 2nd gen, it's quite good. I've seen part of the DIY-RE dvd, seemed kinda silly, poorly directed to me.

Coming from the 2nd gen side, I've heard good things about the Rotary Aviation video. I have it as well and would agree that it is very informative. The video quality isn't "as HD" as the DIY-RE video but gets to the point plus great tips / tricks and additional info. General consensus seems to be that the DIY-RE video lacks the info for the cost and time to view.
