I only play Rainbow Six Vegas online on the PS3, I play a lot of skate on it as well - just not online. Some very very rare occasions I'll play NHL '08 as well online.
As far as xbox live goes, I play Forza 2. If my name pops up playing Halo 3, its my brother's friends as I don't ever play it.

yeah assassins creed is the ****. go rent or buy it.
i don't think console fps games are any good anymore, a mediocre cpu fps player would whoop the best console fps any time. they aren't even worth playing in deathmatch arenas against other people.
point and click is so much faster/better/easier/everythang.

Try Crysis. Game will blow your mind. Altho, it could've been a bit longer. 
Still, everything about it, it whoops Resistance's ***. And, I like Resistance.
I was thinking of COD4 but after reading how you could beat it in about 5 hours, I didn't want to focus on it. Now, Assassin's Creed is looking really good right now.....
