Almost There.

Here is my '85 GSL that was an Auto/12A,now S4 13b with goodies/bigger turbo&Haltech, all that is left is to finish the downpipe, mount the alternator, radiator, upper intake, put on the plug wires and fill the fluids,I have been taking my time because of procrastination and lack of funds but I did only get it in november, what do-ya think about it?

Hell yea, man! That looks great! What turbo manifold did you use? Did you have to space the turbo out any? I'm going the same route with mine and need to compare notes with you...

I have a "el-cheapo" ebay manifold that I think will seal,I'll use it as a design template for a better one if it just wont seal but it goes to a T3 flange which does raise the turbo up like 2.5-3". I used a new gasket, torqued the living hell out of everything in the right steps a few times over,I guess I'm only worried about the welds breaking more than anything,I pretty much took a chance on it but if it works till I can make a crazy custom one thats all I need,I will REALLY be surprised if it does crap-out though,it seems like a pretty decent manifold,I've seen WAY worse.

Here are some shots of the turbo manifold and the I/C pipe I had to make out of steel because of the bends and the fact I had to weld it together(cant weld Aluminum),it is just 2.5" steel exhaust tubing that was painted with some Omni paint. I still have to do some fab work for the downpipe because it is a 2.5" V-band and I have 3" SS tubing for the D/P.

I couldn't see either of those pics on this comp, may be a problem here. Do you have a link to which one that "ebay special" manifold is? I've searched and searched and only found manifolds that have T4 flanges. I also need a T3 flange for a T04E, so I'd really appreciate it if you could give me any more info on the seller or where I could find this manifold on ebay. I still may fab up something from sch. 40 pipe and weld els, but if I could find one that I know works for my application, I'd most likely use that until I have the time to build a custom piece. Thanks...

I don't know why those didn't work,I keep getting a message that it fails, idk, the manifold IS a t4 flange but I have a t3 turbo so I have an adapter.

That is looking really good. Are you going to make videos of it once it is completely done?
