anyone know what the color code is for the air snorkel .... is it just Ford Blue ?

 

ford blue seems to be the best match. i think the rough part in the restoration of the air cleaner assembly wil be the painted on lettering. if you could find a shop to re-print the lettering to exact specification in a decal form, it would probably look great. some automotive clearcoat over the decals would make it look top notch and protect the lettering.

I have a set of his decals waiting for me to get round to painting my AC... very nicely made. I think I got the first set, in fact.

I've been thinking of doing my aircleaner in either black or anodized-blue, so I had him do a set in chrome, too.

I don't think he's done the small-print on the body half yet, though.
