Those are just covers though right? With the little metal straps to hold them on?

yeah pretty much. The straps actually are screwed in. I know what you are talking about, those are REALLY CHEAP.

But yeah most aftermarket pedals are literally "covers" for your bare metal pedals in your car. It just depends on how they are secured. When you change or upgrade pedals, you are NOT literally changing the pedals.

Its just been my experience that the strap ones slip. The autovation ones actually bolt through the factory pedals (minus the pads). Sure they are covers, but they are much more secure than the usual aftermarket pedals.

FC brackets will bolt into a first gen with little to no modification. It is just bolting the FD seats to those brackets where the most modification will have to be done. shouldnt be a big deal actually, well, i hope.

**** yesterday was my birthday, and my parents bought me an 84 gsl? ts what the title says, but its got the early interior.

that was nice, i hope i get some suspension goodies for christmas though
