85 GSL-SE Steering issues

Hi Guys,
So on my 85 SE the power steering pump decided to kill itself and jump out of the car just about 2 summers ago.
I've been keeping my eyes open but have yet to find one that has worked,
The other issues that have now come out of looping the lines for the last 2 years are that the steering box is "unhappy" to say the least, and that the u-joint in the steering column has basically given out.
Basically I need a whole new setup.
Anybody had luck rigging parts in from other cars? or is a barn find going to be my best bet!?
Thanks in Advance. PFA

And typo!
PS on an 84! lol
It's an 84 SE sorry guys, got so used to asking for parts as an 85, but it is a factory option on a 1984 GSL-SE (13B N/A)

Is converting to manual steering an option you,d consider? Not to hijack your thread, but are those Konig Rewinds on your SE?

I'd like to keep it with the PS, I looked into going to a manual rack, and it looks like a giant pain in the ***!
And yes they sure are! 15x7, with a -38mm offset if i remember correctly!

Maybe start a wtb thread for p/steering parts in 1st gen classifieds, see what kind of feedback you get, never know... See you're not in USA,how long have you had those wheels, all research i've done doesn't show any for sale/made/offered in other than 0 offset in 15x7,4x114.3 spacing.

Good Idea! I might do that, but I've had problems shipping parts from the states before!

I think you're right about the 0 offset, the stock ones are probably the -38 and that's where I got confused, I've had those wheels for like 4 years now and can't remember every spec! (Good call!)
