84 rx7 indicator relay repairing
Hi this is my first time posting and I'm just looking for some help on my 84 rx7.I bought it as a project about a month back and noticed that the indicators nor hazards were working. I did some research and came to the conclusion that it must be the flasher module. I took it out and now I'm wondering on how to repair it. The previous owner also mentioned that it had a short somewhere I also want to know any ideas on where that short might be. Thanks for reading this and I hope this solves many other people's questions.

Hey, man - welcome aboard.
When you say the 'indicators' aren't working - do you mean the turn signals? For knowledge, the Turn Signal and Hazard lights are controlled by the same (overly complex) relay which combines the various functions into one switching component. Atkins Rotary has them for about $150, and they're only that expensive because of the combined functions. Most cars have separate relays/switches for Turn Signals apart from Hazard lights.
A quick check might be to flip the Hazard switch back and forth rapidly to clean up the contacts on the switch, as I've found on mine that since they don't get used very often, they tend to get corrosion on the switch contacts. Flip it on and off repeatedly, rapidly, but not forcefully, and maybe you can get one or both functions to start working again.
On the other issue of a potential short - we'll need more information on that to help you. There's plenty of knowledge here over the years if you try a search based on your specific symptoms, too.
I hope you stick around, and good luck,
