'84 GSL-SE Rear Hatch Struts
I own a '84 GSL-SE whose rear hatch struts are completely shot.
I'm using a broom handle to hold up the rear window.
Little did I know that finding replacements would be such a big deal.
The kicker is that the car has a rear wiper. All of the replacements that
I have found are for those w/o a wiper. Any ideas of where I can find
replacements ? Thanks.

Worst case scenario, just buy two non wiper struts and install you're own wire + connector instead of the set-up they use. Someone did this to my old Seven and it worked just fine until I ditched the rear wiper.

You only need 1 gas strut to be working to hold up the rear glass (including wiper).
Take one of your struts in and get it re-gassed and it will last for years.
It's an easy fix.
