84/85 Mazda Audio Stack

I bought an 84 and 85 FB.

Both have OEM audio.

The 84 is missing speakers and antenna.

The lights of the 84 digital tuner do not come on when the radio power button is pushed.

Both Clarion amps in the 84 are installed and both amp fuses are good.

Everything in the 85 works, though there is static when you manipulate the power button.

I want to keep the 84 OEM, so I moved the radio, power antenna, and two speakers (for testing purposes) from the 85 to the 84.

I checked all wiring in the 84 (for assembly ONLY); Everything is present.

I did a successful polarity test of the two speaks and installed them in the 84.

I installed the audio stack in the 84 and push power; Everything lit up and the antenna extended.

However, there is no sound from either speak.

Again, these same speakers and entire radio stack worked fine in the 85, but I get NO sound with it in the 84.

I've attached the wiring schematic for my configuration.

Anyone have any thoughts about where to start?
🤔🧐

Swap the amps in from the 85? Seems like those are the only part that you didn't bring across. You could also just supply an input signal to J07 and J-08 and from a line level output (phone, iPod, Walkman, turntable with RIAA amp (lol)) to the amps already in the 84 and see what you get.

I'd also verify that the amps are getting their +12V supply and turn-on signal through that annoying mess of DIN cables.

I have an 83 and this is what I could figure out about the signals on the cable for the EQ:

Found this in my piles of files that I've saved from this forum. Not sure of the year, but it's pinouts for the radio tuner module.
