82 Gsl finally dropped a rotor. Possibly...

Long story short, I warmed up my car waiting for a buddy to follow me. We went off and stopped at light, as it turned green i hit the gas and it bogged hard. I floored it and it felt like a poorly tuned go cart. Pulling over i noticed one header was hot and the other was only warm (probably from radiant heat). I pulled the back plug to see if it was flooded, as nothing shot out it started with the back plugs off cementing my initial thought of it dropping a seal.
As i recall. There was no thuds or clanking i heard from the engine at all, Just suddenly down on power. I thought maybe a carb issue but I whacked the hell out of the carb (cause ive also had float issues before) and it seemed to have done nothing to alleviate the issue. I thought coils but double backed cause a coil failure wont cause a rotor to fail, just leading/trailing. Maybe a bent apex seal? Blown side seal? Im not done with this car, and its only given me a reason to finally do porting like how ive wanted.
Eventually it will have coil near plug that runs off a CAS connected to a MS box of some sort. Maybe weber style Efi or just Weber carbs for the giggles. Have to fix it first though, any thoughts on what it genuinely could be?
