Radio rebuild was Barry's 8 Track Repair Center in Arizona. After speaking with him I boxed it up and sent it to him. He did a fantastic job - took a bit longer than expected but he had some issues come up so it was understandable. Good guy, honest work and a fair price.

Thanks to all for the insightful comments and advice! GSLSEforme - I would be really interested in buying one of the tab kits you mentioned if they are available. I will speak to BaT and see where it goes and will consider the For Sale forum here. Again, thanks to all - very much appreciated!

Sorry, this slipped my mind. I went fishing and found them.I looked to see if they were still available, think they're NLA. Possibly # is superceded? Maybe call or take that # to your local dealer and see if so and still available. I had two envelopes of these, one from 1987 that had one left in it and another from 1999 with a couple in it. Think they came 6 to an envelope.Don't know if dealer sold a single terminal, likely they did.
OP,don't know if you still have the defroster tab that came off in your possession,it should be still in wire connector. Google Frost Fighter, they make kits for professionals, they're not inexpensive@$85. There are cheaper kits that don't come with a terminal,Loctite makes one.

If you come up emptyhanded,pm me your info and i'll send you one.
