Yes, the lower control arm chassis mount is the strongest body part back there. And I use one jack stand if I'm not going to be under the car.

Nothing like a good push pull on the x and y axis for a warm fuzzy secure feeling.

Here's the link to the HF jacks. Pick one that works for you. I've had my aluminum one for over 10 years and my long reach for about 6 years, both without issues. I had to pick up a 3-1/2 ton jack to lift the truck/suv but that's from another shop.
