What's wrong with that? That car should be EASILY into the 10s, more like mid-9s with a good driver.

Oh wait, you meant the quarter mile?

Repost.

I already posted it in the lounge. https://www.rx7club.com/lounge-192/10-sec-fb-sale-ebay-771400/

A few of the members have already started to bust his *****. He replied to one member that it does 10's in the 1/4 mile but no way it would do 10's in the 1/8. Only on ebay is a 1/8 longer than a 1/4. lol.

I'm glad that kid finally quit calling me about his car. I dunno where he got my number, but it was near impossible to try to make him understand anything.
Never met the kid, and hope I never do. Glad he has decided to sell the car.
Only took me 20 minutes of asking, before he bothered to tell me it wasn't a stock carb. Never did tell me what kind of carb it was, just that gas was pouring out of it.

10 second car my foot. Takes twenty minutes for him to get it started........
And, just for the record, the only strip around here is a 1/4 mile.

it doesn't stay running remember. If you get it running you have to keep the pedal floored or it stalls. lol. what a piece of crap

nah man it's got like a million hp so he needs to keep it floored in order to keep enough gas flow into the monster 12a.

Maybe if you drop it out of an airplane?

20k miles is NOT a "newly rebuilt engine."

Can't spell Dellorto

Oh, Duralast starter!

"There’s a hood scoop that shoots air right to the middle of the engine compartment over the air filter." Odd; I don't SEE an air filter...

You can push start it but not idle it... and that's strictly a carb problem? Or that swanky "duralast" starter?

"Can peel out in 3rd gear..." on rock-hard 70-series tires, that's not much of an accomplishment... especially on the mud drag strip he's apparently been running on.

Doesn't look like an RB muffler to me, either. RB mufflers have black bodies.

Why are people always trying to get rid of there + rims and tires when they are good for 10 sec runs?
I guess he showed us.

I guess the cable ties holding the radiator on make it go faster? Or are they holding an electric fan on... to the FRONT of the radiator? Hope so, as there's no other fan in evidence.

So fast, it blew the side marker lights, radio antenna, grille, front flow bib, and the original red paint, clean off...

You guys just don't get it. With all that extra junk like brackets, air cleaners, bibs and paint removed the car is LIGHTER. And we all know that makes it go FASTER.
