(ELECTRICAL) Documented ECU Pinout/ cut list for 13b swap.
Here it is folks- the never before posted, long awaited, headache reducing ECU pinuout and cut and cap list for swapping a 13B 2nd gen motor into the 1st gen 12A cars. (this perticular pinout refers to the N/A motor)
1E- can be removed if you are not running A/C (
1F- Also relates to A/C
1G- Nuetral switch
1I-5th gear switch
1K- optional (shift light- marked yellow on pinout)
1L-clutch switch (tells when clutch is depressed
1O-Miliage switch (clicks over after 20k (useless)
1R- P/s (remove if you arent running p/S)
1W- heat hazard sensor (on passenger seat floor) not needed.
1A and 1B are your diagnosis checker wires as well as 1D you may want to build a code reader and install it in the glovebox for your own reference.
I believe these are the only ones you will want to remove if you are retaining the emmissions and all OEM functions. Let me know if there is something I should add or remove from this list. I also provided the FSM sheets to accompany this.
Green is the wires to keep
Red is to remove/cut
Yellow is optional
good luck guys...
Trevor

Also this is for those of you who are running the 2nd gen FI system in a carb'ed body. If you go carb'ed on the 13b it is much easier! We decided the FI would help us being this is a track car.

Rrrt... I am going to actually remove the pins from teh harness connector that aren't needed to reduce the chances of future failure by grounding or vibration wear...
