Turblown Engineering's bolt on fully adjustable Tilton’s 6000-Series hydraulic release bearings kit for the Rx7 transmission. This hydraulic release bearing (also known as hydraulic throw-out bearings or concentric slave cylinders) feature race-proven Tilton reliability for the street and track. These hydraulic release bearings have been designed for ease of installation and maximum reliability. This hydraulic release bearing kit is designed to mount onto the transmission input shaft bearing retainer and removes the OEM Rx7 hydraulic slave cylinder, pivot arm, and oem release bearing. By removing those parts one not only lessens the chance of failure, but one greatly improves the engagement precision, and pedal feedback. The OEM throw-out bearing assembly is not adjustable. The Titlon unit is fully adjustable height wise. This allows one to get the throw out bearing " throw" much shorter for faster engagement. The OEM pivot arm between the OEM slave cylinder and throw-out bearing produces a lot of slop in the engagement and feel of the clutch pedal, and we have seen them crack before. The action of the slave cylinder is now directly behind the throw out bearing with this assembly. This is a great upgrade for the serious racer. Tilton assembly also includes a bleeder valve that is accessible once installed outside of the transmission. FD3S cars require an FC3S push style clutch( FC clutches will bolt into an FD motor/FD tranny at substantial less cost). FC3S cars do not require any clutch changes.

Any feed back from customers using this setup? Make sense mechanically to get rid of all the no essential parts for greater reliability.

Is the OEM master enough to operate this setup? Hell, a full tilton pedal box would be nice

Since you're using the FD bell housing, I assume you would need an FD starter if you're using it on an FC?

It's just the throwout collar, not the bellhousing.

Not correct, it does require the entire FD bell housing as well... a better description can be found here;

No it does not require the FD bell housing. Just the center collar.

So FC cars will not require an FD bell housing? Only the collar?
