Racing beat mufflers

Quick question. I was wondering what the consensus would be of using the Racing Beat mufflers on my FC LS swap? I like the look of them and would hate to get rid of them, but if I have to, I will.

They will work, just exceedingly heavy and restrictive for a V8.

I know V8 guys that use RB mufflers without any issues, including NA ones.

Anything straight through will perform better than the RB catback. The RB will certainly work and keep the car quiet.

FYI Racingbeat sells universal mufflers in 2.5" as well as 3".
I use dual 2.5 and its super quiet. It does have about the best low end sound you can get though.
In hindsight, I'd go for the 3". While the dual 2.5 flows good enough for 540whp, I think more volume
would be appreciated.
Oh, and the price is fantastic for the quality your getting.

Here's a dirty pic but you get the idea.
Also, the universal racing beat mufflers are a strait through design.
Center in and center out. Be prepared to get your welder out. And I'm sure that doesn't scare V8 swap guys as much as the rest of th he forum.

Anyone using the racing beat PR extreme power pulse muffler. I was thinking about using it to quiet down my exhaust , which is a bit too loud .Car has a 13b rew BP withl 3" front to back. Need to tone down the sound a bit. Everything I read says racing beat is restrictive though.
