CA New to rotaries...

Hey guys, I've been into fd rx7s since I could remember. Lately I've been considering purchasing one as a track car, and just for pure enjoyment. I've always loved they was they looked, and know they have potential. And as soon as I found out LSx rx7s were such pigs, I've become more serious about acquiring one. Considering I have a ls1 camaro, I wouldn't mind owning an ls1 rx7 as well.
Well just wanted to say hello, and looking forward to increasing my knowledge on a new platform.

Well, I don't know about all that crazy LSx talk but we're glad you're thinking of grabbing an FD for track duty, so that's one less for the junkyards, right?

The intro is incomplete w/o a name and a little story of why you're even thinking of RX-7's would also be nice. I've been into these cars ever since I was tossed around in the back area of a 1983 1stgen when a High School buddy took one for a test drive. The rotary engine has been a source of happiness and frustration over the following decades since but I still haven't given up on the little spinner!

V8 belongs in my Firebirds, not in the rexes, IMHO.

My names sean by The way, . I've just always had a love for fd's since the first time I saw one. There is just something about these cars that have grown on to me. They are still some of the most beautiful cas in the road today IMO. Although I will admit I have actually never been in one. But hopfully I can find some nice local meets around me and change that. I'm not really sure about the whole lsx swap yet. Just an idea cause I know they make crazy track cars. But I'm def. Going to let the rotary show me what it can do! It's a big project all in it's own. But owning an fd rx7 would be very nice.....
