Just thought I would finally say Hi, after been just having a wee nosey for info every now and again over the last year. I'm from Northern Ireland (but don't be holding that against me), and have had my fd type r for just over a year now. She was pretty std jap spec type r, bar the candy apple red paintwork. Since buying her, Ive fitted tein na coilovers, stainless cat back system, 18" gold spoke ultralites, redstuff pads all round, and twin apexi airfilters, and leather mx5 front seats. She's in the garage now, waiting for me to fit the following : front mount ic, alloy 52mm radiator, stainless decat and single turbo manifold, walbro fuelpump, re-amelya twin headlight conversion, magic r copy sideskirts, seibon vented carbon bonnet, carbon drift spoiler and still looking for the right turbo for the single turbo conversion.....................

I'm also thinking of black civic type r recaros, and binning the leather rear, and making up aluminium lockable storage bins and mounting where the back seat was, and fitting smaller race gel type battery, in one, to allow more free-flowing induction pipework, and fitting a rollcage and harnesses, but depends how the funds last. And then there's the apexi and commander, and profec boost controller and and and ................

That red on black is really sharp. I've been looking for a red with black leather for some time, seems to be hard to find. Looking forward to seeing more additions.
