My Fc Build thread.=)

ok well i decided to make a thread because im in the process of doing many things to my car within the next 3 months. for the past 3 months ive done many things to my car that i kinda want to document to see how far ive come. aha also MACs rebuild thread gave me the idea. =p

Day 1- cost me 2000$ named her kiyomi.

Nardi stearing wheel. took me like 2 hrs to install. -.- was very noobish at the time.

s5 round tail lights. like them better then s4 ones.

painted stockies ghetto but looked nicer then silver. my ae86 in backround.

Poered by max coilovers. dropped 800$ on a brand new pair. good times.

how she sits now.

within the next month im going to prepare to get it kitted painted. ill post new pictures friday when i get my Ssr 17'' on it.

cant say i like the addition of white.. but nice choice on coilovers, Night and day difference huh? People here are usually scared of coilovers but they are a great even on the street. how do you like them? whered you set the camber plates at in the front?

oh yeah, get some screws for that steering wheel!

$800 for a brand new set? Nice, wish I could've found that deal when I was looking for coilovers. Funny cause the first thing I did with my fc is what you just did to yours, now you need some wheels to back up that drop.

Good choice, wearing out narrow tires for no reason isn't cool.

you mean stretched? i have 8.5s on the rear of my fc with 205s and they are stretched but not super. i would say those tyre sizes given are straight up and down

idk. cause right now im 5 fingers off the ground and i rub with 15s on when i go into turns. fenders are rolled but the tires i have now are just to fat. so im guessing ill rub with 17s bc i rub with 15s. idk im not sure. tires are confusing to me for some reason.

yeah if you rub now and you have rolled guards and you are switchin to 17s, depending on offset you probably will need to go for stretched tyres. best bet would be to take it in to a reputable tyre shop and hang around and explain your situation and what you need.
