Congrats on getting the nb! Can't tell from the pick but is there a diff brace on? I would put on a pfs if not. Would did you change to make the difference?

Thank you,

Yeppers KG diffbrace, ive seen that toppic tossed arround b4, maybe keith's brace is better for the sreet? I dnk b/c both Jim and I were scrachin our heads. Ive known keith since like 98' and Jim since prob about then also. If I could get him to answer his cell maybe I could get some engineering data lol

Well I found a bit of "blueing" on the right rear rotor, then when I spun it, I watched it take the caliper to the end of its pins and bind up. Not completley but enough it needed a good twst to push it past. at first I thought it was just the rotor, but it turns out the hub had a slight bend in it. The hub still shows true on a straitedge, but rotationally it's 40 thosands out on a dial indicator. so long story short

new hub, wheelbearing, replaced pinion flange on diff (old dustseal was binding ever so slightly) under the hood I routed all my vac lines to a vac block and found out my wg fittings were only finger tight (seems to be source of boost fluctiation) and since I hadnt touched my boost controller and it was runnign a solid 25psi (should be 22) asside from that, I got the 2 step in, moved the trailing coils, re-routed fuel lines, added a catch can, removed the airfilter. and turned down the rear shocks from setting 3 to 1. so litlerally no performance mods, just got the car to make a cleaner pass.

I slightly ground 2nd (might be syncro goin) and just touched the limiter in 1st, so i have atleast 3-4 tenths in that pass if not more considering theres atleast .17 in the 60'

Len, congrats on the pass first of all! Second, I love Keith, but that brace is NOT good for drag racing as you found out. Get the gurdle from PFS and you'll be fine. See you this weekend!

i love to hear these stories of finding all the little things and to go out and smash your PB, too me way to many people think they need to wind more power to go faster, but the car has so many little things we can improve to go faster, i applaud you for fault finding these things and backing it up with a PB
