Between those choices, you can't lose.

..have you tossed around the idea of a set of CCWs?

haha, yea hope so...

CCW looks sick indeed but meister and TE are always my two of my favorite wheels...so its either TE or meister for me now.

face is a bronze finish. I owner of the pac pictured I believe later swtiched out to ce28 time attacks after these wheels, then later sold the car. The difference between the two is the SSR Sp1 offers more brake clearance due to where the spokes bolt to the barrels. The face's spokes bolt to the same line that all the rivets are at offering a slightly larger face. Because of the stepped lip, the face on an 18" rim is 17." Where as the spokes on the meister bolt on the barrels below the line of the rivets. On an 18" Meister, I believe you're getting about a 16" face. Also, the rivets are flush with the mounting point on the SSR, and the rivets stick out on the Meister, making it harder to clean the barrel. When I had my meisters, I had to bust out Qtips when I wanted to clean around them. Such a pain. I have some SSRs on order which should be here next early March.

I would say currently there are many more fds running around with meisters. Maybe the te37 was the fad back in the 90s but the work wheels are everywhere now! Not to mention they are heavy as hell....or at least look heavy

Both look great though.

Both the SSR SP1 and Work Meister are nicer wheels than the TE37 for street/track use. The Meister has a more nostalgic look with the deeper step lip and the curved face. Also the 18 inch 3 piece Meister has a forged face which is nice. SSRs are available in more color choices though.

There is no way either of those wheels are a better wheel than the te37..you can't go wrong with any mentioned above.
