FD Wheel fitment Question

I'm sorry to be asking the lamest most beaten dead horse q ever, so i appologize in advance. I don't wanna let these get away if they'll fit, but I just spent $500 on new rears yesterday, and don't wanna give them up either.

So I tried using the will it fit question eliminator 3000 but I failed. It says it isnt loading correctly or some crap, and no matter what offset or tire size I put in, it just says Yes for the rears, and 0 for fronts.
The wheels are 18x9.5 +15 for the Rear. I just bought 285/35 tires, my fenders are rolled, but not yet pulled. I have 1.8 - camber. The tires are on the car, on a diff set of wheels, same width, not sure of offset, but I'm positive its higher than 15. My car is lowered, but not to an extreme. The guy selling the rims has 255's on em and they fit fine. Thanks for any help.

There is no hope to fit a 285/35 on that wheel. You need to put down your money and research for two months before buying anything.

A 285/35 18 is a HORRIBLE size for an FD. The overall diameter is 25.9 inches which is an inch larger than stock. Speedjunkie fit these on the front of his FD and had what seemed to be a tough time fitting them and he had a VERY large fender pull. You will not be able to fit these on an 18x9.5 +15 wheel no matter how much you would like to. To quote speedjunkie:

"Notes on this setup...these tires, I feel, are way too tall. The 285/35 fits the 10" pretty well width-wise, but it's just too tall. And the 305/35 bulges out a bit on the 10.5, which would be OK if, again, the tire wasn't too tall. I can't tell if there is rubbing when I'm driving it, but when I'm stopped there is tire residue on the rear fenders where the end of the lip (flare) ends on the stock fender. I believe there is rubbing on the front fenders too but I can't tell for sure. I DO know that the tires rub the frame in front of the wheel on one side, driver's side IIRC. I was thinking about just putting a spacer on there and see what happens but decided to just get smaller tires, and since I wanted a new set of wheels anyway that I'd just get new wheels too haha. I have some Shine 20+ wide front fenders but I haven't put them on yet. I've test fit them and this front setup leaves about 5-10mm of clearance."

The first thing you need to do is determine what type of fitment you want. Do you want a max tire width fitment or a "hellaflush" fitment? The next thing you need to do is determine if you are willing to pull you fenders. This will give you an offset range to work with. Next you need to determine your budget. And then you need to read read read.

Ok, I read his post before this, and I've pm'd him as well. I'm using these tires, and rims in the rear, not the front. The car had 275's on it before, but the tires I wanted only came in 285 so that's what I bought. I currently have them on the car and they ride/look great. I'm very happy with them. The thing is, they are on wheels which have a higher offset, if I had to guess I'd say somewhere around 30-38mm. I'm buying new wheels, that are +15, and they have 255/35 on them already, which I know will clear, but I want the 85's on it. Judging by the amount of space between the tires on the current wheels, and the fender, I don't think I'll have to pull them much further.
