so yeah............after a while I somewhat sorta went back on my word of being a loyal corolla guy.
But then after a while I thought that it was a childish idea and wanted to know what other cars like the fc and 240 felt like driving it.

Since most people won't let me drive their cars or at least do a roundup with it the only way I could find out for sure was to get one myself.

So now I have a turboII FC which I picked up for 1500 and an Sr240 hatch which that was for 800. 2 turbo cars for the price of an sr5 86 corolla hatch.

so now here begins my build.

The turbo 2 is missing 2 turbo manifold bolts which there is an extreme exhaust leak, and I'm missing some other stuff but it runs for the most part.

If anybody can help that would be much appreciated.

FC needs:
turbo manifold bolts
driver side window button switch
clock bezel

240 needs:
hell of alotta work putting the SR back together

you will love both of them. I like corollas, but man they are a pain to work on. Everytime I touch my buddies, I break one of the bolts lol

I'm in a bit of the same boat. Just bought a 93 Rx7 FD for $1800, and it needs a lot of love, but can't wait to get her looking good!

But good luck to you!

Hehe, too bad I'm in Japan...

But ya, mine runs great actually. Other than a minor oil leak, and an electrical problem with a wire grounding out, the engine is in great shape. Runs VERY smooth, and fast. If I can get those sorted out, and get a new paint-job, it will look sweet. (Paint isn't that bad, just some peeling on the roof due to the weather here on Okinawa.)

Okay so Im actually gonna start working on it this coming weekend. how should I replace that bolt because it seems like I cant do it unless I take out the whole motor and tranny.
if thats the case, does anybody have any warnings of something when taking out the motor? Ive always heard about water lines, lines this lines that, rotaries suck, this and that.

seems simple though to me, but I just wanna make sure before I go do something stupid
