Hi. I am looking for an '84 or '85 GSL-SE and a lot of the ads I have seen on ebay and other sites indicate that the gas-charged struts which hold up the rear hatch no longer work or are pretty much shot. I have looked at the list of aftermarket parts vendors on the FAQ, but I did not see these listed, although I did find a link for rear defroster clips. Anyone have a source? Thanks.

 

Last time I was in pep boys, they had a huge selection of replacement struts. None of them had the bracketing you would need, but I believe you can re-use whats on there?
